All the media options for watching, reading or hearing about President’s Obama’s First 100 Days

by Kristie Conner

picture-192Today marks Barack Obama’s 100 th day in office.  Behind closed doors senior White House aids have been saying “that measuring President Obama’s first 100 days is the journalistic equivalent of a Hallmark holiday.” And,  “They don’t mean anything,” quipped one aide, “but you have to observe them.”  (Source: CNN)

They might not mean anything, but it is sure getting a lot of attention.  If you have not kept pace with the administration which some might find hard — in the first 100 days he has signed 19 executive orders and 12 laws, most notably the $787 billion economic stimulus plan, the largest recovery package ever.  You can catch up now with articles, video’s, and pictures.

Pictures?  If you want pictures of the President’s first 100 days you can find them at Flicker or CNN.

How about some story highlights?  Well, my guess is that you can find them on every website of almost any news source, but I’ll likely stick with CNN and review some of the blogs on the Huffington Post which is broken down by topic (very nice).  Tech Daily Dose reviews Obama’s First 100 Days Online.  Which is kind of interesting, but the host of the video is kind of boring.  He talks about what has been done such as the official website of the White House in providing a view into the new administration, Online Town Halls and such …

YouTube has several video’s on their homepage and you can watch the President’s news cast live tonight via YouTube starting 8pm EST.

LOL!

LOL!

One is an interview with Karl Rove on how President Obama has done in his first 100 days.  I did watch this one.  I think Karl Rove is a brilliant man who has mastered the art of manipulation (on a personal note I don’t really care for him).  When I am out of time and want to get a litmus for the GOP I tune into Karl Rove.  I find many of the others less articulate and they have a harder time veiling their ridiculosity (made up word – not a misspelling).  I often laugh out loud when I listen to Rove.  I’m not 100% sure I can explain why.  Perhaps, the abiltiy to sound intelligent while being ridiculosity or the fact he doesn’t really believe anything he says, but he goes there?

While looking for a photo of Rove I ran across these hysterical photos.  Check them out — Strange goodbye photos.

Tune into CNN’s National Report Card at 7pm EST.
